O2 Employment Services is working with a local Transmission Shop who are looking to find their next automotive Transmission Technician. This is a full-time, long-term position located in Redding, CA.
This position is open to training the right candidate. The ideal candidate will have either experience rebuilding transmission or general automotive knowledge and a desire to learn.
Compensation of the Automotive Transmission Technician
- $20.00 – $25.00/hr, depending on experience; room for growth
- Vision, dental, medical
- Monday – Friday
Qualifications of the Automotive Transmission Technician
- Mechanical knowledge of transmissions, and transfer cases is highly preferred
- Automotive tool knowledge
- 1-2 years of rebuilding transmissions preferred but not required
Responsibilities of the Automotive Transmission Technician
- Minor repairs and reseal service
- Automatic transmission rebuilding and installation
- Servicing of transmissions, transfer cases, and differentials
- Transfer case repairs
- Clutch replacements
- All other duties as assigned
