Transcriptionist
Do you have quick and accurate typing skills? O2 Employment Services, Northern California’s leader in staffing and recruitment, is working with local medical offices to find their next Medical Transcriptionist. As a Medical Transcriptionist you will primarily be responsible to transcribe live or audio recordings of doctor’s notes into written documents. Ideal candidates will be personable, detail-oriented, and be knowledgeable in medical terminology. Transcribing experience is preferred but not required. This is a great full time, long term opportunity located in Redding, CA.
Requirements/Skills
- Listening, written communication and typing skills
- Strong time management skills
- Ability to think and act quickly
- Understand medical terminology and abbreviations
- Employ the use of transcription software
- Proofread and edit transcribed reports
- Type letters, correspondence and other medical documentations
- Must be able to multitask and work well under pressure
