O2 Employment Services, northern California’s leader in staffing and HR, is currently partnering with 2 local manufacturers to find their next Purchasing and Inventory Specialists! These are full time, long term positions with reputable local companies.

REQUIREMENT for PURCHASING SPECIALIST

  • 3+ years of purchasing and inventory experience
  • Excellent Written and Verbal Communication Skills
  • Organized and detail-oriented Team Player
  • Price Negotiation Skills
  • Physically able to lift up to 50 pounds, climb stairs, bend, stoop, crawl, lift and turn regularly
  • Be able to sit and type for long periods of time
  • Be a self-starter and be able to work with minimal supervision

COMPENSATION

$16-20/hour depending on experience

DUTIES for PURCHASING SPECIALIST

  • PURCHASE, RECEIVE, SHIP, AND TRACK ALL INVENTORY
  • MAINTAIN CLEAN AND SAFE WAREHOUSE & WORKSPACE
  • ACCURATE & COMPLETE PAPERWORK FOR ALL PROJECTS
  • PROCESS ALL MATERIAL RETURNS
  • PROVIDE ACCURATE PRICING TO TEAM MEMBERS
  • MAINTAIN PREAPPROVED INVENTORY LEVELS IN WAREHOUSE
  • PHYSICAL INVENTORY COUNTS & ADJUSTMENTS
  • MAINTAIN POSITIVE RELATIONSHIPS WITH VENDORS
  • SPECIAL PROJECTS AS NEEDED
  • OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED

HOURS

  • Mon- Fri, 7:00am to 3:30pm
