O2 Employment Services, northern California’s leader in staffing and HR, is currently partnering with 2 local manufacturers to find their next Purchasing and Inventory Specialists! These are full time, long term positions with reputable local companies.
REQUIREMENT for PURCHASING SPECIALIST
- 3+ years of purchasing and inventory experience
- Excellent Written and Verbal Communication Skills
- Organized and detail-oriented Team Player
- Price Negotiation Skills
- Physically able to lift up to 50 pounds, climb stairs, bend, stoop, crawl, lift and turn regularly
- Be able to sit and type for long periods of time
- Be a self-starter and be able to work with minimal supervision
COMPENSATION
$16-20/hour depending on experience
DUTIES for PURCHASING SPECIALIST
- PURCHASE, RECEIVE, SHIP, AND TRACK ALL INVENTORY
- MAINTAIN CLEAN AND SAFE WAREHOUSE & WORKSPACE
- ACCURATE & COMPLETE PAPERWORK FOR ALL PROJECTS
- PROCESS ALL MATERIAL RETURNS
- PROVIDE ACCURATE PRICING TO TEAM MEMBERS
- MAINTAIN PREAPPROVED INVENTORY LEVELS IN WAREHOUSE
- PHYSICAL INVENTORY COUNTS & ADJUSTMENTS
- MAINTAIN POSITIVE RELATIONSHIPS WITH VENDORS
- SPECIAL PROJECTS AS NEEDED
- OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED

- Mon- Fri, 7:00am to 3:30pm
