SUMMARY
O2 Employment Services, Northern California’s leader in staffing and recruitment, is working with a high volume medical facility to find their next Certified Medical Assistant. Ideal candidates will be experienced in cardiology, personable, detail oriented, and a certified medical assistant. This is a full time, long term opportunity located in Redding, CA.
REQUIREMENTS for Certified Medical Assistant
- 2 years of experience as a Medical Assistant preferred
- Must be certified with the state of California as an Medical Assistant
- Cardiology experience preferred
- Ability to assist in the front office as needed
- Ability to think and act quickly
- Must be flexible and resilient
- Ability to assist with procedures
- Must be a team player
- Willingness and ability to learn new tasks
- Able to take direction from the doctor
- Strong customer service and people skills
- Must be able to multitask and work well under pressure
COMPENSATION for Certified Medical Assistant
$18-$22 per hour
HOURS for Certified Medical Assistant
Full Time
RESPONSIBILITIES for Certified Medical Assistant
- Rooming Patients
- Taking vitals
- EKG’s
- Cleaning and stocking the rooms
- Learn and abide by industry specific laws and regulations
- Assisting the doctors with anything else needed
- Entering patient information
- Calling in Rx
- Assisting with front desk responsibilities as needed
- Other duties as assigned
