O2 Employment Services is working with a reputable golf course to find their next Water Tech / Greenskeeper. This position is based in Redding, CA.
The ideal candidate will have a dependable, self-motivated work ethic and be comfortable working independently through the night to manually operate sprinklers and keep the course green and healthy. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys hands-on outdoor work and values consistency and routine.
Compensation of the Water Tech / Greenskeeper:
- $19.00 per hour

Qualifications of the Water Tech / Greenskeeper:
- Ability to learn and take direction
- Able to safely drive golf carts
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Accountable, dependable, and reliable
- Effective organizational and planning skills
- Efficient time management
- Works well independently and as part of a team
- Background check required
- Clean DMV record required (for insurance purposes)
Responsibilities of the Water Tech / Greenskeeper:
- Manually operate sprinkler heads to water the greens, fairways, and driving range (approx. 150 heads per shift)
- Monitor water coverage to ensure proper hydration of all areas
- Maintain golf course standards through nightly irrigation tasks
- Collaborate with grounds team when needed
Schedule & Term Details:
- Full-time, 5 days per week
- Seasonal position (April – late October)
- Night shift: 7:00 p.m. to 3:00 a.m. (includes 30-minute lunch break)
