A local Real Estate company is seeking a talented marketing and communications leader passionate about strengthening the brand of our company. The Director of Marketing and Communications is a key staff team member who will build a close relationship with both team members and company leaders. They are a fast- growing company with a strong desire to leverage our brand and build market share and recognition in all our Northern California communities. This full-time position is based in the company’s Redding office.  
Requirements of the Marketing and Communications Director:
  • Ability to provide leadership for all areas of the marketing department including digital, social media, print, and public relations.
  • Lead the marketing and communications strategies, planning and departmental operations.
  • Strong content developer in digital, social media and print environments.
  • Ability to create project vision and execute the follow through to completion.
  • Must have strong digital/social media/web design/WordPress, InDesign and graphic design experience
  • Ability to get quality print product out (brochures, newsletters, etc.),
  • Skill in collaborating with diverse and creative coworkers and real estate professionals.
  • Skill in demonstrating effectiveness in marketing and communications to generate measurable business goals.
  • Skilled writer with strong content development experience.
  • Well versed in the operation of both graphic and web design platforms.
  • Project development and execution skills
  • Collaboration and team building skills.
  • Ability to develop and execute public relations plans.
Benefits of the Marketing and Communications Director:
$65K-$75K a year, depending on experience
Monday-Friday, full time

Responsibilities of the Marketing and Communications Director:
  • Supports multiple areas of our company, operating an in-house agency to develop and execute marketing and communications strategies.
  • Creates content across a broad range of digital and print platforms and manages resources including employees, independent photographers, and videographers, and paid external agency services.
  • The Director of Marketing and Communications is the architect of messaging to help the company achieve the organization’s goals in agent attraction and retention, bottom line, and community engagement.
  • Handle requests for agents on company branding and social media.
  • Develop content for new sites
  • Publicize the organization’s community involvement and move the company forward through strong public relations efforts with local media.  
  • Lead brand and communication standards across the organization.
  • Other duties as assigned.
