O2 Employment Services is currently partnering with a local water treatment plant to find their next Rover and Assistant to the water treatment plant operators. These are full time, long term positions with room for growth with a reputable company. Must have COVID vaccination and booster.
  • High School Diploma 
  • Documentation of COVID Vaccination and booster
  • Mechanical experience preferred 
  • Ability to work in all weather conditions
  • Ability to work rotating shift 
  • Timeliness and adherence to the scheduled work periods
  • Computer literate and familiar with Microsoft EXCEL – preferred
Additional Beneficial Experience – Not Required
  • Familiarity of other MS Office Suite Applications 
  • Familiarity of GIS 
  • 40-Hour Hazwoper trained / current 8-Hour refresher
  • Beginning hourly rate $18 per hour

Plant Ancillary Facilities and Site 
  • Inspect and provide reports on remote facilities on the work site
  • Clear debris from roads and drains
  • Check equipment and provide reports on equipment status
  • Collect samples from streams and equipment sampling points
Treatment Plant
  • Assist to Operate and monitor computer system interface of treatment plant 
  • Physically monitor and inspect treatment plant machinery/equipment operation to detect problems or make adjustments
  • Maintain consistent plant performance
  • Clean, repair and replace equipment or machinery
  • Collect water and soil samples for in-house testing and off-site laboratory analysis
  • Maintain daily inspection and treatment plant work records 
  • Operate power generation equipment 
  • Use hand or power tools, pipe fitting equipment and precision measuring tools or equipment
  • Use laboratory equipment
