District Office Manager Summary:
Under general direction of the District Manager, the District Office Manager is responsible for efficiently conducting the business of the office of the Community Services district on a daily, monthly, and yearly basis according to all local, state, and federal laws.
District Office Manger Desirable Qualifications:
  • Completion of high school, plus one year basic accounting course
  • Ability to take and transcribe notes and minutes of meetings at a sufficient rate to meet job demands
  • Use computer and applicable software in the performance of office and administrative support assignments and financial management systems. (District uses office suite, Quickbooks Pro and CUSI Billing Solutions software)
  • Knowledge of payroll and basic accounting requirements and procedures
  • Ability to compose letters and reports from verbal direction
  • Maintain, update and insure the accuracy of district fiscal records and data
  • Ability to work efficiently with Board of Directors, District Manager, all staff levels and a diverse customer base. Effectively represent the District including its programs and policies with other agencies and the public.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality when required
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and prioritize workload according to weekly, monthly and yearly schedule
District Office Manager Compensation: 
$22.00-$28.00 depending on experience
District Office Manager Responsibilities:
  • Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with co-workers, outside agencies, and the public
  • Act as benefit information officer for District employees
  • Prepare and file worker’s compensation claim forms when needed. Maintain worker’s compensation records and annual audit report
  • Maintain records of safety meetings, order safety training materials and advise the Manager of changes in safety laws or procedures
  • Act as District liaison for liability and property insurance programs. Maintain current vehicle and equipment lists and prepare annual estimate and actual audits
  • Purchase office supplies and order printing as needed. Maintain office equipment service agreements or repairs as required
  • Develop forms and procedures to promote efficient, up-to-date office methods
  • Prepare monthly newsletter and other correspondence
  • Other duties assigned as required for District operation
