Member Service Coordinator Summary 
A local non-profit organization that supports local businesses and promotes skilled trade training is looking for qualified candidates to interview for their Member Service Coordinator position. This is part-time short term position with the potential to become full-time long term. The Member Services Coordinator provides administrative and marketing support to the office staff. The ideal candidate would be someone who can work independently, is self-motivated and driven.
Member Service Qualifications 
  • This job requires a positive attitude and ability to be undeterred by challenges or roadblocks. 
  • Must be resourceful and able to solve problems with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.  
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines. 
  • Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
  • Extensive knowledge of office administration, clerical procedures, and recordkeeping systems. 
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software with the ability to learn new or updated software.
  • High school diploma required, Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field preferred.
  • At least two years of related experience required.
  • Extended periods of time working on a computer – sitting and/or standing.
  • Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds at times.
Member Service Coordinator Benefits
$16.00-$20.00 per hour depending on experience
25-30 hours a week
Member Service Coordinator Responsibilities 
  • Answers incoming calls and inquiries regarding services offered
  • Schedules and books classes
  • Manages the organization’s blueprint and plan printing process.
  • Creates and sends invoices.
  • Reviews and consolidates information regarding building permits for local counties and publishes this information for members.
  • Follow up with trainees and reports on training effectiveness.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
  • Create and distribute weekly e-newsletter.
  • Assist with event planning including promoting the event and coordinating event details.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
