O2 Employment Services is working with a local Medical Transport company looking to interview candidates for a weekend Medical Transport Driver. This is a part-time, long-term, weekends only position.

Benefits and Hours of the Medical Transport Driver
- $17.75 per hour
- Vision, dental, medical
- Thursday-Sunday or Wednesday-Sunday afternoons
Requirements of the Medical Transport Driver
- Must have a valid California Driver’s License and successful DMV Record
- Must be 23 years old
- Must be willing to complete a drug screen and background check
- Must have 2 years minimum experience driving
- Must be able to work with technology (mobile app/
- Must be physically able to get in and out of the vehicle repetitively
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs and push up to 400 lbs (wheelchair)
- Candidate who is a little tech savvy would be helpful
- Fantastic customer service skills are a must and working with mostly elderly
- Must be compassionate and caring
- Must be willing to submit to Criminal, State and National Background screens
- Willing and able to work a flexible schedule
- Must be a team player
Responsibilities of the Medical Transport Driver
- Transporting clients to and from appointments
- Operating GPS, using a smartphone and texting
- Compassionate and patient with clients
- Learn and abide by industry specific laws and regulations
- Mostly working with elderly
- Moving wheelchairs and gurneys
- Other duties as assigned
