O2 Employment Services is working with a local pediatrics specialist is looking for a medical assistant. Their team of compassionate healthcare professionals is committed to promoting the health and well-being of our young patients. We are currently seeking a motivated and skilled Medical Assistant to join our team. This is a full time, long term position located in Redding, CA.
Requirements of the Medical Assistant:
- High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a medical assistant program preferred
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) certification preferred
- Prior experience in a pediatric healthcare setting is a plus
- Knowledge of medical terminology and basic clinical procedures
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Basic computer skills for electronic health records (EHR) and administrative tasks
Benefits of the Medical Assistant:
$18.00 – $22.00 an hour, depending on experience
Monday – Thursday 8:00am – 5:00pm, Friday 8:00am-12:30pm

Responsibilities of the Medical Assistant:
- Assist healthcare providers in the examination and treatment of pediatric patients
- Obtain and record vital signs, medical history, and other relevant patient information
- Prepare and educate patients and their families for procedures and treatments
- Administer medications and vaccines as directed by physicians
- Maintain clean and organized examination rooms
- Prepare and sterilize medical instruments and equipment
- Other duties as assigned
