O2 Employment Services is working with a local Law Office who is looking for a Legal Assistant/Paralegal. This is a full-time, regular role in Redding, CA.
Compensation of the Legal Assistant/Paralegal:
- $20- $28 per hour, depending on experience
- Vision, dental, medical offered through O2

Qualifications of the Legal Assistant/Paralegal:
- Minimum 1 year of legal assistant or paralegal experience (2+ years preferred).
- Familiarity with California Judicial Council Forms and Superior Court procedures is required.
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong attention to detail.
- Highly organized, adaptable, and capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
- Self-motivated, dependable, and a team player with a positive attitude.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Responsibilities of the Legal Assistant/Paralegal:
- Calendaring and Deadline Management: Maintain case schedules, deadlines, and court dates to ensure timely filings.
- Drafting Legal Documents: Prepare letters, discovery materials, and legal pleadings with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Trial Preparation: Assist with organizing case files, exhibits, and documentation for trial proceedings.
- Client Communication: Professionally correspond with clients regarding case updates, scheduling, and document requests.
- Court Filings: Prepare and file legal documents in accordance with California Judicial Council Forms and Superior Court procedures.
- Legal Research & Document Review: Support attorneys by reviewing case materials and assisting in discovery responses.
- Administrative Support: Manage office tasks, maintain electronic and physical case files, and assist with daily legal operations.
