O2 Employment Services is working with a local Insurance Company who is looking for a Licensed Property and Casualty Insurance Agent. This is a Full-time, Long-term role in Redding, CA.
Compensation and Schedule of the Insurance Agent:
- $20.00 – $25.00 per hour, depending on experience, for a probationary period.
- After probation, an aggressive commission only program will be installed.
- Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm.

Qualifications of the Insurance Agent:
- 1-2 years of experience as an Insurance Agent in Business/Commercial Property and Casualty Insurance – Required.
- Must have an active Property and Casualty Insurance license – Required.
- Strong knowledge of commercial business line insurance products and policies.
- Experience in workers comp and liability insurance.
- Ability to communicate complex insurance concepts in a clear and concise manner to clients.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on building strong client relationships.
- Strong sales skills with a proven track record of achieving sales targets.
- Proficient in using technology including insurance agency management systems and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Responsibilities of the Insurance Agent:
- Evaluate client needs and recommend appropriate insurance products and policies, including coverage, deductibles, and limits for both commercial and personal lines.
- Communicate with clients via phone, email, or in-person to provide quotes, explain coverage and answer questions.
- Effectively manage a book of business, including renewals, endorsements, and cancellations.
- Maintain accurate client information in our database and ensure all paperwork and documentation is complete and up to date.
- Work collaboratively with our team to identify opportunities for cross-selling and upselling.
- Stay current on industry regulations, trends and developments that affect our clients' insurance needs.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, insurance carriers, and underwriters.
- Other duties as assigned.
