SUMMARY FOR OFFICE ADMNISTRATOR 
Local funeral home is looking to find their next Office Administrator. This is a full time, long-term position. This position requires a unique level of empathy while maintaining the ability to interact with customers and team members in a positive timely manner.

REQUIREMENTS FOR OFFICE ADMINISTRATOR

  • Demonstrate excellent telephone skills
  • Demonstrate proficiency in use of Microsoft Office, EDRS and other computer software in use by the funeral home 
  • Excellent phone etiquette
  • Detail-oriented and organized
  • Ability to write and speak effectively to customers and team members
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to multitask effectively
  • Someone who is creative, organized, and excels in customer interaction
  • Must be able to learn quickly
COMPENSATION FOR OFFICE ADMINISTRATOR 
  • $15/hour with review after probationary period
  • Monday – Friday
  • Medical, Dental, Vision and Term Life Insurance
  • 401k available after a year
RESPONSIBILITIES FOR OFFICE ADMINISTRATOR
  • Communication with arrangers, funeral directors, clients and suppliers to expeditiously follow up with commitments
  • Participate in presentation and sales of all products and services provided by the funeral home 
  • Phones and filing 
  • Taking payments from clients
  • Learn and use company specific software
  • Any other duties as assigned
