O2 Employment Services is working with a local Woman’s Clinic who is looking for a Medical Receptionist/Back Office. This is a full-time, regular role in Redding, CA.
Duties involve coordinating patient and physician schedules as well as file management and office organization. They are looking for a professional who believes that patients should be treated as people rather than numbers in a file, and who understands the value of compassionate service. This position includes significant amounts of multi-tasking and patient interaction.
Compensation of the Medical Receptionist/Back Office:
- $20 per an hour
- Vision, dental, medical offered through O2
- Monday – Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm
Qualifications of the Medical Receptionist/Back Office:
- Receptionist experience is preferred
- Must be detail oriented
- Must have strong Customer service skills
- Friendly/Personable and works well with a team
- Reliable and trustworthy
- Proficient at multi-tasking
- Strong Computer skills
- Willing to cross train and assist with rooming patients when needed
Responsibilities of the Medical Receptionist/Back Office:
- Scheduling patients for appointments and surgeries
- Coordination with referral departments/Doctors' offices to receive patient paperwork
- Reception/front desk duties
- Answering and transferring calls for a multi-line system
- Coordinate with Insurance companies for prior authorizations
- Organizing workspace, and other areas
- Medical and vision billing support
- Other duties as assigned
