O2 Employment Services is working with a local Commercial Vehicle Modification Company who are looking for an experienced Fabricator. This is a full-time, long-term role in Redding, CA.
Compensation of the Fabricator Supervisor:
- $22.00- $26.00 per hour, depending on experience
- Vision, dental, medical offered through O2
Qualifications of the Fabricator Supervisor:
- 2-3 years of MIG welding and fabricating experience required.
- Experience supervising or leading a team
- Proficiency in using fabrication tools and machinery.
- Strong knowledge of welding techniques, metalworking, and mechanical systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication skills and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities of the Fabricator Supervisor:
- Design, fabricate, and install custom components and modifications for commercial trucks, including but not limited to frames, chassis, bodies, and specialized equipment.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate fabrication and installation.
- Operate various hand tools, power tools, and machinery such as welders, grinders, and cutting tools.
- Conduct inspections and tests to verify the quality and functionality of fabricated components and modifications.
- Ensure all work complies with safety regulations, industry standards, and company policies.
- Communicate with clients to understand their requirements and provide recommendations based on their needs.
- Address any issues or concerns raised by clients and provide timely solutions.
- Other duties as required.
