O2 Employment Services is partnering with a well-established underground and excavation construction company in Redding, CA, to hire a Class A Driver. This is a full-time, long-term opportunity with competitive pay and benefits.
Class A Driver Compensation:
- $24.00 – $27.00 per hour, depending on experience
- Medical, dental, and vision benefits offered through O2
- Monday – Friday schedule, with potential overtime
Class A Driver Qualifications:
- Must have a valid Class A CDL with at least one year of experience
- Dump truck experience in construction is required
- Clean DMV record
- Experience operating heavy equipment (excavators, loaders, etc.) preferred
- Ability to safely haul and transport construction materials and equipment
- Strong knowledge of Shasta County and surrounding areas
- Safety-conscious, dependable, and team-oriented
Class A Driver Responsibilities:
- Operate and drive truck/ transfer and dump trucks to transport materials such as dirt, gravel, and debris to and from job sites
- Safely load, unload, and secure construction equipment and materials
- Ensure proper dumping and material handling in accordance with job site requirements
- Follow designated routes using GPS for efficient and on-time deliveries
- Assist with equipment operation and job site tasks as needed
- Maintain accurate logs and compliance with DOT regulations
- Perform basic vehicle inspections and maintenance checks
- Provide exceptional customer service and communication on-site
