O2 Employment Services is working with a local Financial Management Company who is looking for a Chief Operating Officer (COO). This is a full-time, regular role in Redding, CA

We are seeking a dynamic Chief Operating Officer (COO) to oversee our day-to-day operations, enhance internal processes, and support sustainable scaling of our services.
Compensation of the Chief Operating Officer (COO):
- $85,000- $110,000
- Vision, dental, medical offered through O2
Qualifications of the Chief Operating Officer (COO):
- Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field preferred
- 7+ years of leadership experience, preferably in operations or public sector consulting
- Strong understanding of nonprofit or government agency financial operations
- Excellent communication, strategic planning, and problem-solving skills
- Experience scaling operations in a growing organization
- Knowledge of compliance standards and risk management best practices
Responsibilities of the Chief Operating Officer (COO):
- Oversee daily business operations across departments, including Finance, HR, and Compliance
- Lead operational planning and execution to support company goals and client satisfaction
- Develop and implement policies, procedures, and systems to drive efficiency and accountability
- Partner with the CEO to refine business strategy, assess performance, and identify areas for growth
- Ensure compliance with applicable regulations in government and nonprofit sectors
- Support team development, training, and performance management
- Manage budgets and assist with financial planning in collaboration with the finance team
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders
