O2 Employment Services is working with a reputable Automotive Service Company to find their next General Manager. This position is based in Redding, CA.
The ideal candidate will have the ability and experience to engage with the team on the shop floor to provide guidance, support, and hands-on assistance as needed.
Compensation of the Automotive Shop Manager:
- Annual rate of pay varies: $65,000 – $115,000 per year, depending on experience

Qualifications of the Automotive Shop Manager:
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years in automotive shop management or a related leadership role within the automotive industry.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of automotive repair and maintenance processes.
- Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and develop a diverse team.
- Analytical Abilities: Proficient in analyzing performance data and making informed decisions to drive improvements.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Customer Focus: Commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.
Responsibilities of the Automotive Shop Manager:
- Team Leadership: Oversee and mentor service advisors and technicians, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.
- Performance Management: Monitor and analyze weekly and monthly performance metrics, implementing strategies to achieve and exceed targets.
- Operational Oversight: Ensure smooth daily operations, including workflow management, quality control, and adherence to safety standards.
- Customer Service Excellence: Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction by addressing concerns promptly and ensuring service excellence.
- Financial Management: Oversee budgeting, cost control, and profitability of the service department.
- On-the-Floor Engagement: Actively engage with the team on the shop floor to provide guidance, support, and hands-on assistance as needed.
