Administrative Assistant

The Administrative Assistant represents the Children’s Legacy Center and its
cause, staff, and culture with professionalism and enthusiasm to all constituents.
This position requires organization, optimism, a value for team, and initiative. The
Administrative Assistant will support the Executive Assistant in the execution of
projects, organization and record keeping, communications with staff and
constituents, and general admin support. Independent judgement and a positive
mindset are required to plan, prioritize, and maintain a diversified workload. This

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2 years administrative experience
• Highly proficient in current Microsoft Office Suite, Google Docs and Forms,
Asana (preferred)
Preferred Qualifications
• Bachelors Degree in business or equivalent
• 3+ years experience
• Familiar with state and federal grants
Roles and Responsibilities
• Handles highly confidential and non-routine information.
• Manages emails and other pertinent communication with promptness
and sound judgment.

• Prepares reports as needed for board meetings, presentations or grant
• Works independently and within a team on special nonrecurring and
ongoing projects.
• Conducts research for subject matter assigned.
• Establishes, develops, and maintains filing system for Executive Assistant.
• Utilizes phone system, copy machine, computers, postage meter, fax and
other basic operating machines and equipment.
• Orders office supplies (as directed by Executive Assistant)
• Drives as needed to run errands for the Executive Assistant, including
picking up mail from PO Box.
Who We Are
The Children’s Legacy Center began in 2016. Our passion is to aid children and
youth who have been abused and exploited. We currently achieve this goal by
offering forensic interviewing services as a part of our Children’s Advocacy
Center. These interviews reduce trauma and help our partner agencies expedite
justice for children, youth, and their families. We are now able to build upon this
tested and stable foundation and are building out our regional pilot model for
exploited children and youth. This model is a diverse, holistic, and far-reaching
collection of programs and services that will multiply our impact in the community
and beyond. Although each of our team obtains a specific job description, we
work collaboratively to develop and expand our organization. We value the

Position Type
• This is a full-time position. Our team typically works Monday through Friday
from 8am to 5pm.
• Weekend and/or overtime hours may occasionally be needed
Rate of Pay
$15-$17/ hour, depending on experience with room for growth
