Process Assistant Summary

O2 Employment services is working with a local lending company to find their next process assistant. The ideal candidate will be able to provide direct support to the Processor by performing loan file set up, follows up with the Loan Officer for missing documents, completes doc requests, extends excellent customer service to client base, and other administrative and clerical duties as assigned.


Process Assistant Responsibilities:

  • Receives and prepares loan submissions from Loan Officers for Processing review
    • Ensures loan submission includes appropriate information based on file type
    • Prepares Disclosures
    • Order Tax Transcripts / Social Security Validation / FHA Case Numbers / VA Eligibility
    • Order Verification of Employment, Mortgage, Rent
    • Register loans in ALRS
    • Order Appraisals
    • Allocates work flow to the Processor
  • Assist Sr Processors with duties/tasks
    • LDP/GSA
    • Review for missing documents
    • Scanning documents
    • Ordering Title Fees
    • Doc Requests, ordering Title Fees
  • Work with team to develop new processes, create efficiencies etc.
  • Other duties as requested


Process Assistant Compensation:

$15-$18/hour — Pay is dependent upon experience


Process Assistant Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of multiple loan programs including FHA/VA, Conventional, ACCESS, USDA
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills required; ability to work with diverse base of contacts (Loan Officers, clients, agents, lenders, title companies, etc.)
  • Detail-oriented individual with strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Computer skills required include MSWord, Excel, Outlook (e-mail) and Calyx POINT (mortgage origination software). Encompass a plus
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet stringent deadlines on a consistent basis
