PATIENT SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE DUTIES

  • Answering a multi-line phone
  • Greeting patients
  • Verifying patient information
  • Process and help patients with new patient paperwork
  • Update existing patient’s paperwork.
  • Collect Co-Pays
  • Schedule follow-up appointments
  • Scanning paper charts, test results, operative reports
  • Insurance pre-authorization and verification

PATIENT SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE QUALIFICATIONS

  • 1-2 years of experience in a medical office preferred
  • Type minimum 45 wpm
  • Must have good computer skills and ability to learn our software
  • Ability to follow directions, and take detailed notes
  • Must be adaptable
  • Excellent phone etiquette
  • Ability/experience navigating insurance websites and EHR
  • Must be detail oriented and have great customer service skills
  • Must be a team player
