OPERATIONS ASSISTANT SUMMARY

O2 Employment Services, Northern California’s leader in staffing, is currently partnering with a local business organization to find their next OPERATIONS ASSISTANT. This is a full time, long term position with a reputable local company.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR OPERATIONS ASSISTANT

  • At least 2 years of clerical experience
  • Excellent communication skills, in person and over the phone
  • Excellent computer knowledge, including MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and internet.
  • A high level of attention to detail and accuracy is required
  • Good problem solving skills and good judgment
  • Must be able to work in a fast paced environment, learn new things quickly, handle multiple tasks, and prioritize responsibly
  • Must be self-motivated to work independently, as well as work well on a team
  • Must have strong attendance record and work ethic, and maintain a positive attitude at all times
  • Must be able to pass drug screen and company specific background
  • Must have valid driver license

COMPENSATION

$18/hr

HOURS

Monday-Friday 32 hrs/week

DUTIES FOR OPERATIONS ASSISTANT

  • Greets guests & provides information for telephone, visitors, members & web site inquiries
  • Develop and maintain brochures (restaurant, hotel, economic profile, etc.)
  • Updates, prepares & coordinates relocation packet mailings
  • Schedule and oversee Ambassador host schedule for: Greeters, Ribbon Cuttings, Grand Openings & Virtual events, and communicates all events with web contact
  • Create Greeters announcements & plaque for host of Greeters
  • Support Director of Membership by creating marketing materials, assembling graphics, etc., for pre-drafted emails and mailers to communicate our message
  • Prepares packets to provide on-site information about membership benefits to new members
  • Prepares board & committee packets (agenda, minutes, financial report, membership report, etc.)
  • Oversees Scholarship Program
  • Cross-trains on QuickBooks for read-only to answer account questions for members
  • Processes incoming mail
  • Perform supportive admin tasks as needed
  • Assists President/CEO, staff & sub-contractors with special projects and assignments
  • Create & manage member requested posts
  • Post all events to online calendar, website & social media accounts
  • Schedules pre-created content to be posted on various platforms as needed
  • Uploads to website weekly
