O2 Staffing is currently seeking an experienced Hot Tub Technician & Installer to fill an opening with a local hot tub and swim Spa Company in Redding, CA. The ideal candidate should be familiar with electrical equipment (from pumps to mechanical cover lifts), can also provide exceptional customer service, and demonstrates genuine enthusiasm for installing the hot tub of the customers’ dreams.

 

Requirements of the Hot Tub Tech & Installer

  • Current / valid driver’s license
  • 3+ years’ experience in troubleshooting electrical/plumbing products
  • Proven knowledge of delivery-service policies/procedures and safety requirements
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, along with written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability and willingness to learn specialized electrical programming
  • Ability to work with all levels of staff and customers
  • Comply with a mandatory physical and drug screening

 

Physical Requirements of the Hot Tub Tech & Installer

  • Ability to use hands to handle, feel, or reach with hands and arms is a must
  • Verbal communication and hearing required
  • Specific vision abilities required for this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust and focus
  • Frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl
  • Occasionally required to sit, climb or balance
  • Ability to regularly lift or move objects 10-50lbs and occasionally lift or move objects that weigh more than 100 lbs; Forklift available when needed

Responsibilities of the Hot Tub Tech & Installer

  • Perform the services needed by our hot tub and swimming pool customers
  • Inspect working order of hot tub for determination of service-related activity and warranty
  • Complete 4 to 8 service calls per day and route daily jobs to ensure effective time management
  • Prepare orders by processing requests and supply orders, pulling materials, packing boxes, and placing orders in delivery area for distribution
  • Perform daily customer contact list overviews and respond to customer service calls in a timely manner
  • Maintain safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and work-stations neat (i.e. sweep, dust and mop, putting away tool)
  • Inspect equipment by preparing work orders for repair and requisitions for replacement as needed
  • Should be familiar with pumps, mechanical cover lifts, and their installation
  • Ability to complete service, deliveries, and operational requirements
  • Collaborate with the sales team to schedule deliveries, service calls and accomplish team-oriented tasks as needed
  • Communicate potential sales opportunities to the sales team or management
  • Proper clean up and disposal of items that are no longer needed
