JOB SUMMARY
O2 Employment Services, Northern California’s leader in staffing and recruitment, is working with a local Insurance office to find their next INSURANCE Customer Service Rep. Ideal candidates will be an EXPERIENCED admin assistant who is personable, detail-oriented, and task-driven. These are full time, long term opportunities located in Redding, CA.
REQUIREMENTS for INSURANCE CSR
- High school diploma required; college coursework preferred
- Minimum 3 years of customer service experience is required
- Must be willing to get insurance licenses in the future
- Requires excellent communication skills, including exceptionally professional written and verbal correspondence
- Excellent computer knowledge, including MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and the internet
- Good problem-solving skills and good judgment
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, learn new things quickly, handle multiple tasks, and prioritize responsibly
- Must have a strong attendance record and work ethic, and maintain a positive attitude at all times
PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT
- Will need to get an insurance license and eventually travel to Texas for training (expenses paid)
- Light sales that can include adding cars, boats, or business for customers
- Discussing coverage with customers, answering questions, and becoming knowledgeable with all our insurance carriers.
- Problem-solve with customers for current insurance policies.
COMPENSATION for INSURANCE CSR
- $35k-50k; Room to grow

RESPONSIBILITIES for INSURANCE CSR
- Provide customer service and support to clients as needed to ensure client satisfaction
- Answer telephones, transfer calls, take notes, and answer questions as needed
- Data entry, scheduling, database maintenance
- Electronic filing
- Cash handling
- Processing checks and credit card payments
- Complete additional duties and/or tasks as assigned
