CONTROLLER SUMMARY
O2 Employment Services, Northern California’s leader in staffing and recruitment, is partnering with a local company in the lumber industry to find their next controller. Ideal candidates will be experienced and have a positive attitude and be a self-starter!
CONTROLLER HOURS
Monday through Friday, 8 am – 5 pm
CONTROLLER COMPENSATION/BENEFITS

CONTROLLER DUTIES
- Manage all financial functions including financial strategy, budgeting, processes and forecasts to support current and future revenue growth
- Determine and report the financial impact of operational issues and strategies
- Assist the president and management team in driving day-to-day operations
- Assure financial plans are consistent with company goals
- Develop and supervise training and professional development, a strong financial team
- Manage daily activities of A/P, payroll, invoicing, customer credits and collections, etc.
- Performing internal audits
- Learn and use company specific software
- Assure accurate and timely recording of all transactions
- Other duties as assigned
CONTROLLER QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or equivalent
- 3-5 years in a financial leadership position
- Advanced understanding of accounting
- Must be organized
- Ability to problem solve
- Personal and professional integrity
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage well
- Must be self-motivated
- Ability to learn new skills quickly
- Excellent computer skills, able to learn new software quickly
- Must be able to multitask and work well under pressure
